Easter Treat Table - The Scandi way

Spring is officially here! With the longer days, brighter weather and blooms popping up everywhere, what better way to celebrate the start of spring, than with a table full of Easter treats! And of course we couldn’t have an Easter table without a little bit of Scandi inspiration…

Easter treat table, featuring Scandinavian inspired plates filled with hot cross buns, cookies and more!

It is tradition in Iceland to celebrate Easter by spending time with family and friends, a plentiful table and to give Easter eggs stuffed full of sweets!

With this in mind we've put together some inspiration for an indulgent Easter treat table full of luscious spring colours and delightful sweet treats...

The sweet treat to make this weekend...

No Easter feast is complete without some handmade treats! I love mini eggs, so after seeing these cookies on instagram, I couldn't resist making them. And wow, they're soft, gooey, mini egg heaven! The recipe I used is from Janes Patisserie, It's such a fun bake and dangerously easy to make- they won't last 5 minutes!

Bring spring inside!

Spring bulbs instantly brighten up your home, I used vintage terracotta pots to plant a mixture of muscari and tete tete daffodils. Then added fresh moss and the cutest eggs I've ever seen - Easter in a pot!

To finish it off, I popped a dinner candle inside each of the pots and it makes a great centrepiece.

Serving your Easter treats

I love the idea of having special plates to bring out and cherish year after year, our ceramic egg plates do just that! Inspired by the minimal Scandi style, we created them specifically for serving up some delicious Easter treats, they add the perfect amount of fun and whimsy to the table- without looking over the top!

Hop hop hop is perfect for hot cross buns and I'm just here for the chocolate just has to be piled high with chocolate treats.

Especially with a more laid back grazing table style like this, it doesn't need to look perfect. Just add all the treats you love and sprinkle it with chocolate eggs! You could even recreate it outside for an easter picnic!

Wishing you a happy Easter!
